am on my 6th ignition switch at about 150.00 each. just replaced one 18 months old with only 4000 miles in the year and half. same switch as recalled by nhtsa. they must be using old invenory. any thoughts on how to get my money back? any ignition switch stories
oil drip. need 2 gaskets. dealer etimates 5 hours plus parts etc, maybe 600.00. make sense to you. appears to be a drip into oil pan. i saw man tinkering there, wiping, wrenching etc. looks like an easy reach for him. did not look necessary to take car apart to do this job. does 5 hours seem reasonable or should i just go to a shade tree mechanic?
please write me at larrymstein@earthlink.net
thank you
