electrical burning ? :[
by admintoday while i was driving my speakers went from playing music, to just a horrible loud crackling sound.. my radio cut off, when i turned it back on [while still driving] everything sounded fine but there was a really bad smell, like wires and plastic burning.. the longer i drove the worse it got, so i pulled over. when i popped the hood there was nothing out of the ordinary, [my windows were down so the smell was hard to find in the car once i stopped] and like every other issue with my car i couldnt duplicate the problem again when some friends came to help. i am pretty nearly 100% positive there is a short somewhere in my car, cause my lights randomly cut off and on, so does my car, so does my radio.. i live in virginia beach and i cant find ANYONE around here that is willing to mess with my electrical, they just keep telling me nothing is wrong.. help please ?
