Hi,
i have a 1997 nissan altima, and i am having some trouble with the door locks
i just recently bought the car, and so far its been a blast except for a few things.
well this is #1 and the only big one atm.
basically the door locks do not lock correctly,
sometimes they will lock but most of the time they force to unlock and when it does it unlocks all 4 door locks,
if i lock all manually when i go to close the door it will unlock all 4 when the door is closed
although i have found a way around it i dont know why it is but when i start the engine and shut it off i can manually lock all 4 and than close it they stay locked, i was wondering what the problem is im thinking either the computer or fuse?
i have come to the conclusion if this keeps up im going to end up taking off the door closed indicater switch i was wondering if i even need this besides the dome light.

Just bought a 95 Nissan Cedric here in Japan. Here is what is wrong with it:
The dash mounted environmental / radio unit is not reacting. The indash unit has the radio, gps, tv, ac & heater units running through it, and it wont turn on or anything. The ac is constantly on and blowing low. Anyone know how I might test this? Where I might get a new unit? I would like to get this working so I may have a radio … etc. Any help is appreciated.

I am trying to change the cassette player to a CD player ………but I am lost ……because of the different color wire nissan has. I tried Google but no luck…

ok im selling my eclipse and lookin for a different car and this one seems like it would be pretty fun and fast. alot to work with also. espically compared to my non turbo eclipse! im planning on spending 10k or less i have seen some in my price range. i was wondering are there any bad problems with these cars? which would be the best year model to get?
Can an engine from a 1989 300 ZX (auto transmission) work in a 1989 speed? I blew my motor and came across a reconditioned motor from a 5 spped and wants to know if i can replace the engine without using any costly conversion kits
alright my car idles around 1.5k I think that is a bit high, and what do you guys think if smoke is comming out my exhaust?

So we finally got our bathroom done.. (Looks AMAZING!) and my dad is finally gunna start buying stuff for his truck.
He wants to get a Nismo CAI do thats one thing we know were getting.
He wants to get step bars (most likely Nissan), a nice system like speakers and sub (nothing to extensive though.. just something to blast his vanessa may with =P) so suggestions on some good speakers and subs would be nice.
What are some other nice cheap acssessories you can get for frontiers?? i looked at the Nismo Site.
Ok i am looking into getting a 1991-93 240 and i want to drop a RB25DET into it if i dont have to replace the trany and everything and would have to spend another 5K just to get it in. If i would i want to drop in a RB20DET unless there is the same problems. Can anyone enplane the problems of those motors if there is any and how much extra cash i would have to spend to get it installed. Thanks everyone!
Can anyone tell me where this sensor is and how to change it? A pitcher of the engine and the sensors would be nice.
