Hyundai unveiled at the CHicago Auto Show the 2009 Elantra Touring, a sportier, more functional variant of HyundaiÂ’s popular Elantra sedan.
Elantra Touring is powered by the same fuel-efficient 2.0-liter, in line four-cylinder found in the Elantra sedan.
This sophisticated 16-valve powerplant employs Dual Overhead Camshafts (DOHC) and Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) for a very broad power band, coupled with high fuel efficiency and low emissions.

Abarth made official today the Fiat 500 Abarth, a sportier and more powerful version of the Fiat 500. The 500 Abarth will be available at Abarth network in July. Next to the road version prepared with the conversion kit, the small Abarth will also be offered with a racing outfit, the 500 Abarth SS Assetto Corsa.
The 500 Abarth will be powered by a Fire 1.4 16v Turbo petrol engine that delivers a maximum of 135 bhp (99 kW) at 5,000 rpm and peak torque of 206 Nm at 3.000 rpm in ‘Sport’ mode (in ‘Normal’ mode torque is reduced to 180 Nm at 2,500 rpm).

Audi will unveil at the Geneva Motor Show the Avant version of the all-new A4. Sales will begin in Spring, at a price starting €27,550 for the Audi A4 Avant 1.8 TFSI Attraction.
The A4 Avant will be offered with five engine types to begin with: two gasoline engines and three diesel engines with an output between 143 hp and 265 hp. A new TDI engine that will develop 170 hp will be added later.
The new 3.2 FSI is the most powerful engine that comes with the new A4 Avant. It has an output of 265 hp and reaches 330 Nm (243.40 lb-ft) of torque between 3,000 and 5,000 rpm. It powers the A4 Avant from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in just 6.4 seconds and on up to a top speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph). At the same time, fuel consumption has dropped by 1.5 liters.

Alfa Romeo will unveil at the Geneva Motor Show the 2009 8C Spider, a 500 units limited edition.
The new vehicle inherits all the winning features of the Coupè version. Starting with the two “sport seats” setup and the fascinating exterior lines, which characterized by sculpted and finely designed bodywork, “dress” the automotive and mechanical excellence of the model.
The 8C Spider will be powered by a 8 cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox with 90°” and a capacity of 4691 cm3. The engine delivers 450 CV at 7.000 rpm and a maximum torque of 7.500 rpm.
