series 6 for $5000

i recently found a rx-7 series 6 for $5000… the problem is the guy who is sellin it said he imported it for racing reasons and it cant be registered…. is there anyway i can get this registered even if it cost me a bit, i dont care cos $5000 is dam cheap..
