Hi all.
The crankshaft is damaged on my 1994 Daihatsu Rocky. I can take it out and get it ground down. But I was wondering if there is any other Daihatsu models that use the same engine/crankshaft that I could source one out of?
It is an HD-E 1.6L engine. I had heard that the Daihatsu Charade of around 1994 used an HD-E 1.6L engine, but FWD, instead of the RWD setup in my Rocky. Someone suggested that the crankshafts might be the same, even though the motors are mounted differently.
Anybody know if they are the same, or if any of the other Daihatsu or Toyota models would have the same crankshaft?
Cheerz,

I have an 1988 Acura Integra LS. The radiator had a small leak in it and we were dumb enough to add some stop leak. Well, it stopped leaking but next morning the temp gauge immediately jumped to hot when we turned it on. We replaced the thermostat and flushed the radiator. The temp gauge still jumps to hot even though the engine is cold. Any suggestions?
