The other day my mate baught himself a 2002 excel with the DOHC the air sensors are behind the throttle body, we wanted to try out a K&N air pod filter on it and get rid of the cold air intake. we sprayed some pure alcohol into the throttle body and piping to clean it out. we left the cold air still intact while we disconnected the tubing to the throttle body and directly attached the air pod.
we then realised that it wouldnt get much air flow there and would have to pipe the pod and mount it towards the front, instead we left the pod there and positioned the original plastic pipe into the small inlet at the front of the pod..then took out the filter from the cold air intake, so its got air from under the hood and now sucking air through from the front.
we took her for a test run and i almost shat my self from puttin the foot down. the thing had so much more power it was crazy. the thing sounded like it was supercharged, the engine sounded like a beast and you could still hear the air sucking in over the engine noise. putting the foor down really put you back in your seat, which before we did this it had never done.
hyundai had really choked the air flow when they made em.
1996 dark green Civic coupe, 5 speed.  1.6 L d16y8 sohc.  Paint is in fair condition…I recommend a new coat. engine runs perfect.  has new header(ractive), cam(comp), cam gear(AEM), ram air intake, fuel filter.  Needs cat-back, only has muffler.  I also recommend some tuning done to the timing after a c at-back, i did some myself and got some extra power…but I know there is more potential.  American Racing Sniper 17×7 wrapped in Kumho 712 ecsta.  No rips or tears in the interior.  Theres  a crack in the dash and a small piece missing where the A/C housing is, this can be easily replaced ( i am taking off $300 for it).  has new pioneer 6.5 2-way front speakers in front, and sony xplode 2-way 6×9s in the rear. the sound is great even without an amplifier.  It has a code alarm which works great.  the car needs a piece of fender molding on the driver front wheel well(i am taking off $50 for it).  the skirt-molding is cracked also(i am taking $100 off for it).  Headlights are HID with clear corners, taillights are carbon fiber altezzas…i have the originals for both sets.  glass is perfect, A/C blows very cold, heater is great.  transmission needs to be looked at…in third there is a slight non-interrupting grind.  i change the oil every 3000 miles.  i will be doing my best to fix a few of these problems.  so I might be updating.  asking price is 5800-450  =  $5350.  email  me at biosynthetyk@otmail.com with any questions or if you want some pictures.

hey guys i just bought a set of coilovers from superhonda who bought them from weapon R (long story  :P)  anyway max drop is like 4 inches.  do yall think im gonna need a camber adjustment kit thingy or just get it re-alligned?
