I am hearing this ringing noise from under the hood in my eclipse. Its only when im at a stop sign that i can actually hear it, and its actually significantly able to be heard. Its the 420a engine. I noticed its also mainly when its warmed up, and usually only after i get off the highway. Anything will help, just wanna make sure nothings screwed up, let me know, Thanks.

My 98 Civic has some sqeaking noise when I turn the key to start the car. The noise is very brief and it occurs when I just turned the key. Then the noise is gone after the engine started.
Is this the ignition problem?

I have a 03 Civic EX that I want to put a cold air intake and performance muffler just to get an extra kick driving it - thats all. I dont want one of them huge mufflers with the crazy sounds - any recomendations ? I want a regular type free flow muffler of some sort.
this is for the experinced engine people.  When my car is cold tell it warms up it has a pinging sound in the head like the valves are hitting the pistons or sumthin like that.  Only happens for about the first 3-5 mins on a cold start the engine has about 80,000 miles on it.  And it seems to get worse with new oil until the oil is about a month old.  Any Idea honda experts….. ??? ???

I have a 1.5 i 95 model. Fairly often I can here a knocking sound that seems to be coming from the right side.Quite noticable. It doesnt do it around corners so maybe not CV. sound reduces at acceleration and is more noticable when backing off the accelerator
